Clay County Warrant Records Clay County Warrant Records

This page explains what the private reference site can answer and where to take questions about Clay County records. It cannot confirm a warrant, schedule a surrender, accept a bond payment, or change a court file. For official status, use the court named on the citation or order; the Justice Court, clerk offices, and Sheriff's Office each handle different records. The contact list below includes local addresses and numbers found in county sources, along with the distinction between court filings and sheriff-held material. Call before traveling because hours and procedures can change.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Use the office connected to the record rather than sending every inquiry to a general county contact:

  • A county or precinct citation: Clay County Justice Court, 214 N. Main, Henrietta, TX 76365, (940) 538-6531; the court lists JPCourt@co.clay.tx.us
  • A district-court case file: contact the Clay County District Clerk, 100 N. Bridge, Henrietta, TX 76365, (940) 538-4561
  • A county-court record or copy-fee question: contact the Clay County Clerk at 210 N. Bridge, Henrietta, TX 76365, (940) 538-4631; its online payment link is not for traffic, Justice Court, or District Court fees
  • Law-enforcement routing or sheriff-held records: Clay County Sheriff's Office, 215 W. Gilbert, Henrietta, TX 76365, (940) 538-5611; its records form says it does not hold court records
  • A missed date, fine, bond, or recall: ask the issuing court what process applies, and consult a licensed Texas attorney for legal advice

Before visiting, call the office responsible for the case and confirm current hours. The Justice Court closes for staff work on the first Friday of each month. Sheriff records requests may be emailed to claycountyorr@co.clay.tx.us or delivered to the Sheriff's Office; the county form requires government photo identification, does not accept fax requests, and can take up to ten business days.
